Organization
of American States Project
In
this project, students choose a country that is a member of
the Organization of American
States to research. They then “create” an NGO
to address an important issue in that country. The project
finishes when students make
a pitch for funding to the rest of the class using a PowerPoint presentation.
The
Center wants to make it easier for teachers to bring Latin
American issues to the classroom. We would like to create an
archive of lesson plans that touch on Latin American topics.
