This is the second event in a four-part lecture series on “Mobilities and Migration across the Americas,” organized by the German Historical Institute. Bringing together scholars from Latin America and the Caribbean, the United States, and Europe, this lecture series aims to provide a platform for engaging and inspiring interdisciplinary debates. 

Speakers

Kateřina Březinová is a professor at the Department of International Relations and European Studies at the Metropolitan University Prague, who works on international migration and international relations with a territorial specialization in the Americas. 

Luicy Pedroza is a professor-researcher at the Centro Internacional at the Colegio de México. Her current research is examines how migration policies regulate the paths to integration.
