Cristina Rivera Garza, author, translator, and critic, created one of the first Hispanic creative writing programs in the U.S. Alfonso Fierro interrogates her work alongside that of José Revueltas, in delving into what Rivera Garza calls "desedimentation" - unpacking the layers of literature.
