Adriana Lisboa is the author of six novels, including Sinfonia em branco, which won the José Saramago Prize, Rakushisha, Azul-corvo, and Hanói. She also worked as a translator for 11 years, translating works from French and English into Portuguese. Recognized in 2007 as one of the Bogotá39 — the 39 best young authors in Latin America — her work has been translated into nine languages and received international recognition.
