The Center for Latin American Studies supports and administers a variety of research grants and programs relating to Latin America.

The Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships provide funding to graduate students to encourage the study of critical and less commonly taught foreign languages.

Tinker Field Research Grants support travel to Latin America for graduate students to conduct preliminary work toward their research projects. In 2021, remote research is allowed.

The Indigenous Languages of Latin America (ILLA) Travel Fund provides funding for undergraduate and graduate students to attend conferences and travel to the field to perform research related to Indigenous languages of Latin America.

The ORIAS Speakers Bureau is seeking new graduate student speakers to share their academic interests with young audiences.

CLAS Working Group funding is available for a variety of graduate student working groups during the academic year.
