Undernutrition and Obesity in Latin America: A Paradox for Policy Makers

Event Description

In Latin America’s middle-income countries, the prevalence of stunting due to undernutrition remains high at the same time that childhood obesity is on the rise. Policymakers should consider both to ensure that interventions designed to prevent stunting do not contribute to excess weight gain.
