While immigration is a potential source of prosperity for the United States, concerns about its impact on American workers and taxpayers make it a contentious issue. Prof. Peri will analyze the effects of both immigration and the proposed reform on economic growth, productivity, labor markets, and social welfare.

Giovanni Peri is a professor of Economics at UC Davis and an expert on the economics of migration.
